@ForumAdmin, Ideally both would be available. There would be instances where one or the other was available so having support for multiple different connection methods would be much appreciated.

The Spot Editor doesn't support the SFTP protocol used by many hosting companies, such as WP Engine. https://wpengine.com/support/sftp/ Would also be nice to have other connection options such as Amazon S3. Thanks @WebSupport

The SpotEditor doesn't support standard OS clipboard keyboard shortcuts (cut, copy, paste) in the MacOS version. Only able to do those actions with a right click. Would also really appreciate having at least one level of undo available. These are such core level features that it's a little tough...
