Full 3D tutorial

Hello all, I found this software last week and it really fits my needs. However, I have not found any documentation to make a full 3D project.

I have a 3D model but I don't know how to export it to achieve something similar to the camera example on your homepage. Any pointers?

Hi! Yes... our documentation is lacking when it comes to full 3d "multi-row" setup.

It's best to start with this example set of rendered 360 images consisting of 7 rows by 36 images:

https://webrotate360.s3.amazonaws.com/sites/webrotate360/downloads/Resources/SampleImages3D.zip

And then when you create a new project in SpotEditor, simply enter 7 as the number of rows on the new project form. More info is available in these blog posts:

Thank you, I will check it out.

But I was wondering if you have any resources that could help me with the export from 3DS Max or any other program like that.

We're working with a professional 3D Max designer to record a quick video on how exporting standalone 360 product images for webrotate works in 3D Max. Will post a link here asap.

Here's our recent blog post that links to the 3d max video tutorial I mentioned, which covers rendering both simple single-row 360 product images as well as two-row 3d product spins as per the demo in the post:

Hi there! What kind of documentation are you looking for, e.g how to model in 3D? Otherwise, in SpotEditor it's just that field on the Publish form for the number of rows in the source folder and controls to add / remove rows under Images -> Rows tab at the bottom.
