Plugin in K2 content

Thank for the Joomla integration plugin. Today I try in Joomla standard articles and it work well, but in K2 Joomla module it wasn't work..! The K2 content module is most used Joomla article module...

Please, check and make it working...

Hi there and thank you for your comment! We will look into K2 asap to see how feasible it will be to hook up. Do you think a lot of Joomla v3.x users also install K2 as from our very quick review on google it looked like a few major K2 features have been implemented in the native Joomla v3.x editor as well?

hi there. Thanks for quick reply. I'm sure a lot of Joomla users use K2 for their content . First because it had a more futures and options than standard Joomla articles, second by users habit, and last but not least moving from Joomla 1 to Joomla 2 to Joomla 3 99,99% of K2 user use K2 in new Joomla version even the new version have new and similar options like K2...

this is my first posting and I would like to say thank you for the TOP product!!!

Yes, 100% K2 is widely used in Joomla and the K2 support in the plugin is a must for the Joomla community.

But, talking about ecommerce + Joomla, then we have to talk about the Virtuemart component.
I'll open a diferent topic in the forum about the Virtuemart support.

Hi Guys, as discussed above we added K2 support earlier today.

You can re-download the plugin via the following link, then extract the files and just overwrite the same files under your plugins/content/webrotate360 (assuming you already have the webrotate plugin installed) and it should start working with the K2 content items as well. Though if you see any issues, please let us know!

I have uninstalled the previous plugin, afer that downloaded the new file and installed it again via the Joomla instalator, the problem is that in K2 the plugin is still not working.

Joomla! 2.5.27
K2 2.6.9

Hmm.. we tested the K2 integration in Joomla v3.3 so far where it seem to work just fine, so I guess we'll need to retest with Joomla 2.5.x + K2 and come back to you on this

Hi there with Joomla! 3.3.6 Stable and K2 Version 2.6.9 plugin isn't work with K2 content, it work just with regular Joomla content like in previous plugin version...

Hi Guys, thanks for your feedback so far! We retested it in Joomla 2.5.27 + K2 2.6.9 and also in Joomla 3.3.6 with the same version of K2 and it works in both cases for us without any changes, i.e using the same published plugin on JED from yesterday.

Please check this video that I just recorded where I go very quickly (sorry!) through K2 Content and K2 Item config in both Joomla versions trying to show why we think it's working fine for us Can you please review and let us know what might be different from your K2 setup?

How do you made the installation of the updated new version?
Uninstall / Install
or copy / replace to a existing instalation of the older not working version?

I have downloaded the plugin from JED, is there a link to the right version?

We tried both, actually: extract all file from zip downloaded from JED using the only link we have there and then copy over same files under plugins/content/webrotate360, and also full uninstall / reinstall from downloaded zip from JED. Thanks for your login details Will check shortly!

Hi Lupo, it's fixed now. We updated the plugin a bit to work with other types of K2 content that we didn't know existed. We reinstalled the plugin on your test website from our updated JED url and your test 360 works now

PS: This update should work in Joomla 3.x as well.

I knofirm that everything is working just perfect in K2 on Joomla 2.5
If it's possible to get soon a solution for Virtuemart also, then I think that the Joomla 360 degrees plugin is done!

Hello, there is very strange problem with the webrotate360 popup and galery plugin mode.
I can see that the 360 images from the popup are downloaded, but I can't see them in either of both modes.
Here are samples:
In Joomla content:

I can see some strange downloads from socail spyware sites like facebook and twiter ... very strange what is this ..
I have disabled all socail spyware plugins in my Joomla instalation.

Looks like your VirtueMart template has a different copy of the prettyPhoto script inside the file in the link below and it has the social buttons enabled.

prettyPhoto script is what we also use to launch 360 product views in the popup mode and we do remove the social buttons from our implementation as you can see in our demo.. But your other copy of this script in your VirtueMart template in the file below has some of our settings overridden (you can open this file and search for prettyPhoto).

Do you want us to disable your copy as I don't think you are using popups anywhere else?
